Kongjian Yu is the founder and Dean of the School of Landscape Architecture at Peking University and founding Director of Turenscape, one of the first and largest private architecture, landscape architecture and urbanism practices in China. He is a globally acknowledged leader in the field of flood adaptive landscapes and urban water systems. Yu spoke at Foreground’s Living with Water symposium held at the National Gallery of Victoria as part of Melbourne Design Week 2018. This event was also made possible by partners, the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects and the University of Melbourne.
