Dutch Profiles: H+N+S landscape architects / Công ty kiến trúc cảnh quan H+N+S

As former Governmental Advisor on Landscape and one of the directors of H+N+S Landscape Architects, Dirk Sijmons explains, the Netherlands is a mostly man-made body of land. As it is surrounded for a large part by the sea, and indeed is partly situated below sea-level, water management is a big concern. Luckily, mastering complex water issues is precisely what H+N+S excels in. Currently one of their major projects is the National Park De Hoge Veluwe, a nature area spanning 55 square kilometres. The redesign is based on the idea of articulating the characteristics of the various landscapes that can be experienced there.
