This research project aims at analyzing the current initiatives implemented by the city of Lübeck in Schleswig-Holstein (Germany) and its inhabitants in the field of green growth and sustainable urban development. It consists in identifying the tools that might be used by the city to enable green growth as it is defined in the STRING Network Green Growth Strategy. The project also focuses on the policy mobility concept in the European Union, in order to understand how EU policies, and especially EU 2020 objectives, can be implemented at a local level.
