The Path of Titans – Walking on the Vauban Wall

Vauban is an architectural form of defensive citadel in medieval Europe that has been widely spread to the world, including Vietnam with a system of ancient citadels spread across the country built during the Nguyen Dynasty such as Bac Ninh and Vinh. , Quang Tri, Hue, etc.

The fortress-like walls surrounding ancient cities from the Mediterranean to the North Sea have now become part of the urban structure of cities. Along with the process of weathering, it has created beautiful landscaped green strips that adorn the ancient cities.

Bringing that concept into the ancient town of Taormina Phu Quoc, we can imagine An Thoi hill with a row of low vauban citadel embracing the town with the green landscape running along the hillside along the chain of citadel creating an additional resting space, a unique walking path with a 360-degree view of the entire south of the island for residents.

The Garden of Ninfa

is a garden in the territory of Cisterna di Latina, in the province of Latina, central Italy. The park is an Italian natural monument.

The landscape garden contains medieval ruins, several oaks, cypresses and poplars, grassy meadows, a wide range of exotic plants from various parts of the world, numerous watercourses and a large variety of rambling roses growing over the stone walls of the ruins.

This is not only the most beautiful garden in Italy, but also a prime example of the harmony and symbiosis between nature and people, as related to the story between conservation and development in a wonderful natural place. as beautiful as Phu Quoc.
