It is a port town on the banks of the Adriatic in the province of Lecce, in the Puglia region, in southern Italy.

This is the ideal destination for a trip with blue sea, white sand, ancient houses and jumping rock outcrops that make Otranto a prominent tourist destination of the Puglia region.
