Hanoi City will implement a project to renovate, embellish and rebuild both sides of the To Lich River to turn this place into a park, square, and green space to serve the people of the Capital and tourists.

The Hanoi People’s Committee is completing the dossier to report to the competent authorities on the project of renovating, embellishing and reconstructing both sides of the To Lich River.

Previously, the Hanoi People’s Committee submitted a report to the Hanoi City People’s Council for approval to adjust the investment policy of the project to renovate, embellish and rebuild the park on both sides of the To Lich River. This is a key project, associated with the event to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the Liberation Day of the Capital.

According to the Hanoi People’s Committee, the project has a total area of nearly 738,000 m2, stretching along the banks of To Lich River, passing through 12 wards: Ngoc Ha, Nghia Do, Lang, Giang Vo, Cau Giay, Yen Hoa, Thanh Xuan, Dong Da, Khuong Dinh, Dinh Cong, Thanh Liet and Hoang Liet.

 

The design perspective is expected on both sides of the To Lich river with full greenery along the river, elevated walking paths, and walking space adjacent to the water surface.

 

The highlight of the design of Hanoi’s symbol in the area near Hoa Moc Bridge (near Le Van Luong – Lang Ha overpass).

 

The perspective on both sides of the To Lich River is close to nature.

Along the To Lich River, small courtyards will be arranged that can be used as art performances, or where tourists and people can rest, enjoy the scenery and relax.

 

On both sides of the To Lich River, there are also architectural work items, including: Service works, highlight works and auxiliary works.

The project is expected to build road yards, including: Sidewalk and square yards, embankment walls to block tree tubs, riverside promenades, step systems, sitting steps, sloped paths, sidewalk bundles, tree beds, parking lots, sports fields, playgrounds, pedestrian paths.
