Design Principle
The Tam Thang symbol is inspired by the three villages Thang Nhat, Thang Nhi and Thang Tam – the unique historical roots of Vung Tau. The overall shape rises like the three prows of King Gia Long’s boat facing the sea, both protecting the land from danger and expressing the strong will of a young, creative and ambitious city.
Three modeuls clusters developing towards the sea that represent the spirit of unity and the aspiration of reaching out to the ocean
The structure of the symbol consists of sturdy triangular pillars, blending with nature, welcoming the first rays of dawn, bringing a real experience of being lost in a virtual “forest” filled with light.
At the same time, each pillar also evokes the image of the warriors on the Tam Thang boat fleet of the past, standing tall in the face of the storm, affirming the resilient spirit of this historic land.

Located at the intersection of Le Hong Phong Street and Thuy Van Coastal Road, Tam Thang Square with its uniform paving design connects three small squares into a large, continuous square space.
The two pedestrian bridges on both sides not only create a seamless connection but also act as symbolic welcome gates, using the technique of opening and closing space to mark the characteristic boundary of the square.
